About

The CMC was founded in November of 2006 by Reg Green.

Reg has been riding motorcycles since the mid-70’s. Meeting with friends to go for rides, Reg eventually found himself riding with another riding club that had chapters all over the US and Canada.

In 2004 Reg became a road-captain in the Kitchener area, then soon was asked to be a 2nd officer. Shortly thereafter, Reg became the 1st officer of the huge chapter. In the summer of 2006, Reg then formed a new chapter for this riding club the Cambridge/Guelph area. Four months later, came the CMC!

So was born the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers! With the first chapter in Reg’s backyard (Cambridge/Guelph) the CMC was underway. With the over-whelming support shown Reg and his 2nd officer, Chris Nadon, the majority of the former riding club membership, quickly joined to start the Charter Chapter of the CMC. In 2 short weeks, the 1st chapter of this new venture was growing with a membership of over 75 members! (More about the CMC Charter Chapter)

The CMC Halifax 004 Chapter, with 80+ members, is family oriented and open to all makes, models and personalities. No fees - no politics - no BS!
